Terms of Service
Effective 13 August 2026. Barnes Signal Advisor is a service of BitPlan Loyalty Inc., an Ontario, Canada company. These terms are written in plain language on purpose. Using our website or buying our services means you agree to them.
The services
Signal Audit is a free automated scan of a public webpage that produces a score and a report. Signal Build AEO and Signal Build AEO+Redesign are fixed-price website projects. Signal Says is advisory time billed by the hour or day. Signal Check is a one-time re-measure of how AI assistants see your business.
Quotes and pricing
Published price ranges cover most engagements. Every project gets one fixed price in writing before you commit, and that written quote is the price. Unusual site complexity can take a quote above the published range, but you will always see the number before work begins. Prices exclude applicable taxes. The currency is stated on your quote.
Payment
Payment terms appear on your quote or invoice. Work begins as set out in the quote. Signal Says time is invoiced as used. Signal Check is paid per check.
What you own
Everything we build for you runs in accounts you own — hosting, domain, analytics, tools. Deliverables belong to you once paid for. We keep no hold over your website. With your permission, we may reference your before-and-after audit scores in our own materials; if you would rather we did not, tell us and we will not.
What we need from you
Access to the accounts the work requires, accurate information about your business, and timely responses on approvals. Delays on access or approvals extend timelines, not prices.
Third-party platforms
Your website runs on platforms you subscribe to — hosting, builders, booking tools and similar. Their terms and fees are yours and theirs, not ours. We configure them; we do not control them.
What we do not promise
Our audit measures whether a site is readable, quotable and recommendable by AI engines. We fix what the audit finds. We do not control ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google or any other engine, and we do not promise rankings, recommendations, traffic or revenue. Anyone who promises those does not control them either.
Changes and cancellation
Scope is set in the written quote. If you want changes mid-project, we price them in writing before doing them. Either of us can end an engagement in writing; you pay for work completed to that point, and everything completed is handed over.
Liability
Our total liability for any engagement is capped at the fees you paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, tell us and we will try to fix it. That is how we would rather resolve things. Failing that, these terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and disputes belong to the courts of Ontario.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the version on this page is the current one. Material changes to an active engagement only happen with your agreement.
